With 15 years of experience in first responder settings and an RCMP practicum, she specializes in issues like ADHD, PTSD, and workplace stress. Virtual sessions suit those with busy schedules, living remotely, or facing mobility challenges. Benefit from Jen’s flexible scheduling during evenings and weekends, ensuring accessibility for all.

My experience includes, working with people from a variety of cultural & diverse backgrounds. I am an approved provider through NIHB for individuals with treaty status; and BlueCross for RCMP in both F & D divisions (prior approval required through the division Health Services).
I am well-versed in various topics including mental health issues such as ADHD, PTSD, OSI, moral injury, and compassion fatigue. I also possess knowledge in areas such as brain injury informed care, navigating change, separation/divorce, conscious dating, and relocation. Additionally, I am knowledgeable about intergenerational trauma, organizational culture change, gender-based violence, and the impact of daily stress on overall wellbeing.

Kim has extensive experience working with individuals experiencing anxiety, struggling to manage stress, new parents during the postpartum period as well as supporting families who have experienced perinatal loss and/or infertility. Kim has both lived and professional experience in the area of ADHD, as well as complex family dynamics. Kim’s graduate research focused on compassion fatigue, the unique experience of burnout by those in helping professions.
Kim views her role as a counselor as someone to offer guidance; identifying goals that will help you achieve the changes you feel will benefit your life and relationships. If faith is a part of your journey, Christian faith principals can be incorporated.
Kim’s is non-judgemental and her approaches are down to earth, compassionate, and practical. She can support you with challenges you feel are the most important that will have the most positive impact on your day to day life.
